# Failed downloads

If your link failed to process, the exact reason will be noted in a few places depending on your plan.

## Subscription plans

1. Go to your dashboard, click the three-dot menu under the **Actions** column and select **Details**.

2. Check the **Notes** section in the dialog for the full error message.

## One-time plans

An email will be sent to you with the reason the download failed.

Common causes include the file exceeding your plan's size limit, a missing or incorrect decryption key, an expired or invalid link, or the link being from an unsupported service.
